Police seized some P100,000 worth of ecstasy and collared three men, including a minor, in an anti-illegal drug operation in Quezon City Friday.
Police identified the suspects as Jeanivien Crisostomo, 40, of Barangay Pinyahan, Quezon City; Gavin Buenaflor, 22, of Obrero St., Makati City; and a 17-year-old male student from Barangay Olympia, Makati City.
The Quezon City Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, in coordination with the Quezon City Police District, conducted the operation.
Authorities launched a buy-bust operation against Crisostomo after confirming reports of his illegal drug activities.
Crisostomo was reportedly a supplier of ecstasy in rave parties and clubs on Timog and Tomas Morato Avenues.
The suspect was nabbed by the police after he sold P3,000 worth of ecstasy to a police poseur-buyer in a buy-bust operation in his residence on Matapat St., Barangay Pinyahan.
The two other suspects, apparently customers of Crisostomo, who were also in his house were arrested.
Police confiscated 56 tablets of suspected ecstasy with an estimated street value of P100,000 from the suspects.
They were taken to the QC-CIDG office at the QCPD headquarters in Camp Karingal for proper disposition and investigation. (Vanne Elaine P. Terrazola)
