It seems that actress-television host Kris Aquino is not coming back to television soon if the cryptic messages of a GMA 7 executive should be taken seriously.
“No grand welcome for @krisaquino214 sa front entrance ng GMA 7. Kasi naman, she was entering thru the backdoor. Sana may place sya sa CNN,” according to a twitter post of Jake Tordesillas, creative consultant of GMA Network recently.
“Remember, when @iloveruffag walked out after @krisaquino214 teased her that ABS’s heaven compared o TV5. Well, who has the last laugh now,” Tordesillas added.
Reports said that a powerful executive of the network has denied Aquino a morning time slot.
So far, Aquino has not addressed the rumors.
In September, Aquino has decided to leave ABS-CBN after 22 years to do a project with Antonio P. Tuviera (APT) Entertainment, Inc., a group associated with the Kapuso network.
APT is a subsidiary of TAPE Inc., the producer of the popular noontime show “Eat Bulaga.”
Aquino, 45, said that it was her manager Boy Abunda who reached out to Tuviera.
“Our plan was initially just a digital initiative – I know you miss my #foodtrips & my #cooking #recipes #roadtrips & #travel… But maybe my guardian angel in heaven (could it have been you, Mom?) was working overtime and what was an attempt at something new & experimental, evolved into a vision and a presentation that felt perfect for who I am now and for our TV collaboration,” Aquino shared.
It was reported that GMA 7 is cooking up a morning show for Aquino that will rival the daily morning show of ABS-CBN “Magandang Buhay.”
Aquino was supposed to start working for her new project on GMA 7 sometime in September but it was postponed.
After she left ABS CBN, she went for a 10-day vacation in Japan with her kids.
But when they came back, Aquino said that she would be very busy with activities related to her business, not entertainment.
