I dare you to touch a cockroach.
More so, fondle, play with one.
Would you?
On our “Matanglawin” TV show recently, we met a most unusual person, RJ Almarines, who calls himself a cockroach enthusiast.
RJ says he loves cockroaches and in fact keeps some of them as his pets. “Pinapasyal ko sila noon sa bukid as a kid,” he remembers.
RJ’s first pet was a Madagascar cockroach.
It is only one of 4,000 species of cockroach. Of this number, 40 are considered pests.
