Malacañang tries to extend its winning streak to four games when it collides with defending champion Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) tomorrow in the 5th UNTV Cup at the Pasig City Sports Center.
Behind the hot-shooting duo of Ian Garrido and John Jimenez, the Malacañang Kamao demolished the Bureau of Fire Protection Firefighters, 92-77, to remain the only unbeaten team in Group A of the tournament for public servants.
But the Kamao of Presidential Management Staff head Bong Go will have their hands full against the AFP Cavaliers in their 5 p.m. encounter.
Former Letran star Boyet Bautista is expected to be the marked man for the Cavaliers who are out to bounce back after losing to BFP, 78-74.
Aside from Bautista, also expected to deliver the goods for the Cavaliers is former PBL standout Eugene Tan.
BFP is likely to notch its third win when it takes on winless Senate at 3:30 p.m. while National Housing Authority goes for its second straight win when it faces GSIS at 2 p.m.
