VIGAN CITY, Ilocos Sur – An interactive horror house is the newest attraction at the historic Heritage Village in this city for Halloween.
Ilocos Sur Gov. Ryan Luis V. Singson said the horror house conceptualized by the provincial government is on the second floor of the Leona Florentino house on Calle Crisologo near the St. Paul Metropolitan Cathedral and Plaza Burgos.
Singson said it is now an attraction as hundreds of tourists and residents flock to see it. The horror house opened to the public last October 25.
“In celebration of the Halloween season, the provincial government came up with a concept and designed the second floor of the Provincial Tourism Office as house of horror. Inside the house are different creepy monsters, ghost characters such as white lady, zombies, vampires, witches, and nun ghosts called “Valack.” You can also see other fearful creations in every corner of the dark rooms,” Singson said. “Since it was opened, countless curious people came to see what’s inside the house. This is a way to promote tourism in our province,” he added. (Freddie G. Lazaro)
