ACTRESS Maja Salvador has said that she is dating these days after she has moved on from her failed relationship with actor Gerald Anderson.
“I’m dating,” Salvador said during an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” on ABS-CBN.
But she clarified that it is not actor John Lloyd Cruz who is being linked to her after Anderson.
Salvador, 28, recalled how the rumor with Cruz started.
“Nag-start kasi ‘yan nung post ko na nag-support kami ng ‘How to Be Yours,’ ‘yung movie ni Gerald and Bea. And then after sinundan nung nag-Kapamilya Karavan sa Davao. Bago kami pumunta sa event, parang may two days off kami,” she said.
Saying that they belong to the same handler, Salvador also said that it would be difficult to make intimate scenes with a close friend like Cruz. “So may pag-aalangan sa pagtanggap kasi nga, siyempre nga ‘pag kelangan ng intimate scenes, paano mo gagawin,” she added.
Salvador also said that she is not bothered at all when people ask her about Anderson. “Hindi naman (ako bothered).
Siguro kung hindi pa ako naka-move on, baka. Makikita naman ’yun. Ngayon civil naman kami,” she said.
Salvador said that she is preparing for her third concert called “Only Maja” which will be staged at the Music Museum in Greenhills on Nov. 12.
“Wala man kaming big props or big production numbers pero sabi ko gagawin ko ’yung best ko, ’yung puso ko, ’yung kaluluwa ko ibibigay ko talaga rito kasi last ko muna ‘yan na magko-concert.”
“Kasi next year, gusto kong mag-focus naman sa acting. ’Yung mga pini-pitch sa akin na teleserye at pelikula, kailangan talagang mag-focus,” she said. “Kaya excited ako for Nov. 12. Pero may ‘ASAP’ naman. Kasi baka ma-miss nila akong magsayaw.”
Salvador was last seen in the popular primetime teleserye “Ang Probinsyano” on the Kapamilya network. She also made guest appearances in the comedy series “Home Sweetie Home” recently.
Reports said that Salvador and Paulo Avelino will reunite for a project. But they did not say if it is for movie or television.
In 2014, Salvador first staged a major concert entitled “MAJ: The Legal Performer.” Her second major concert “Majasty” was held in Nov. 2015.
