A 37-year-old man was gunned down while he was visiting a friend in Tondo, Manila Friday, police said yesterday.
Investigators identify the victim as Joker Villarino Amurao who was shot to death by an unidentified gunman while he was standing in front of his friend’s house in Nepa Street, Tondo, Manila.
The victim’s friend was identified as JR Dumdumaya who is also being sought by authorities to shed light into the killing.
Dumdumaya and Amurao were said to be constantly together since the day before the incident happened.
Dumdumaya’s 60-year-old father-in-law Alfredo Gallardo said the two were together the day before and even saw both of them having a conversation the day the crime happened.
Gallardo was inside his house when he heard a loud bang, with Dumdumaya later on screaming that the victim was shot.
A security camera revealed that an unidentified man who was wearing a baseball cap came out from an alley near the house of Dumdumaya and shot Amurao on the head before running away.
Dumdumaya was said to be the one who reported the incident to police authorities but was nowhere to be seen since. (Betheena Kae Unite)
