In the volleyball finals where all three defending champions are out of the picture, DLSZ and San Beda drew first blood.
DLSZ topped St. Scholastica’s College in the midgets division, 25-19, 25-19, and San Beda outlasted CEU in the seniors class, 25-23, 27-25, 20-25, 25-23.
In the Final Four, DLSZ ousted St. Paul, last season’s midgets champion, while CKSC booted out 46th season junior holder Miriam College.
Rizal Technological College is not around to defend its senior volleyball crown after withdrawing participation.
All Game 1 winners go for the clincher this Saturday also at RMC. The junior volleyball final duel, another DLSZ-CKSC tiff, also gets going that day.
