Two suspected drug couriers were killed in a shootout with cops after two of their clients were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Novaliches, Quezon City, Tuesday night.
Police identified the slain suspects as Ronaldo Sadiosa Jr. alias “Hapon”, 22, and a certain “Ron Ron”, about 20 to 25 years old.
Anti-illegal drug operatives from Novaliches Police Station (PS-4) apprehended Alberto Barbado alias “Bobet”, 48; and Norman Serrano alias “Nok-Nok”, 21, around 7:55 p.m. in a buy-bust operation.
During police interrogation, Barbado and Serrano pointed to Sadiosa and alias “Ron Ron” as their drug suppliers.
PS-4 members conducted another drug sting against the Sadiosa and Ron Ron at about 8:30 p.m. on St. James, Nagkaisang Nayon.
Police said they had just received shabu worth R500 when the suspects sensed the fake transaction.
