In a span of three and a half hours, three drug suspects, including a female courier, were killed in separate incidents in Pasay City on Tuesday night.
Pasay City Police reported that two of the victims – Anecito Ybanez, 59, and Myra Frias, 47 – were shot dead; while Allan Olanday, 46, barker, was found dead with his head wrapped with white plastic and sealed with packaging tape, and both hands tied.
Police said the first victim, Ybanez, allegedly a thief and drug courier who refused to surrender under Oplan Tokhang, was gunned down by motorcycle-riding men while sitting in front of his house at No. 1769 Taft Avenue, Brgy. 33 around 7 p.m.
Around 9:50 p.m., Frias was watching television inside her house at No. 26 Cinco de Junio St., Sun Valley, Brgy. 195 when two of six armed men on board three motorcycles shot her to death.
Kagawad Froilan Tancingco said that Frias was a surrenderee under Oplan Tokhang and included in their watch list.
The last victim, Olanday, was dumped on slightly flooded portion of Park Avenue corner H. Domingo St., Brgy. 75. He had a puncture wound in the left side of the neck.
Police Officer 2 Noel Burden, case investigator, said Olanday was found by a certain Maximo Samson, 27, while he was on his way home around 10:30 p.m.
“Habang naglalakad siya, nakita niya ’yung biktima na nakahandusay sa kalsada. Kinabahan siya kasi nakabalot ng puting plastic at packaging tape ’yung ulo tapos nakatali pa ’yung kamay kaya humingi siya ng tulong sa mga tanod,” Burden said.
Olanday, according to village, an ex-convict who had an illegal drug case and also a member of the Sigue-Sigue Sputnik gang.
Senior Supt. Nolasco Bathan, city police chief, ordered his men to thoroughly investigate the incidents.
Bathan said they are trying to determine if the three incidents were perpetrated by one group considering that they happened one hour apart. (MARTIN A. SADONGDONG)
