ACCORDING to studies conducted by scientists at the University of Edinburgh, the closest relatives of birds are dinosaurs.
According to Reader’s Digest, One of the earliest birds was a creature called archaeopteryx, which lived 150 million years ago. It had teeth, a long tail and feathers. The question remains, however. Did birds descend from dinosaurs?
Among birds, one of the easiest, and also the smartest to train, is African lovebirds, according to Jericho Cruzado, owner and trainer of such pets.
He says it takes only about one month of training for lovebirds to learn new tricks. He says it’s best to start training them when they’re 3 weeks old.
