The lady driver who crashed her yellow Kia compact car into vehicles and security personnel in Makati City last week is not yet off the hook.
Makati Mayor Abigail Binay has forwarded the case of driver Jamie Camille Lee Brojan, 28, to the city’s Legal Department to prepare appropriate charges against her.
Brojan, a resident of San Juan City, was involved in a wild chase with Rockwell security guards last Friday. The incident went viral in social media.
“Let me make it clear that the case is not yet closed. We do not tolerate this kind of behavior in our city,” said Binay.
Brojan, called “Crazy Yellow Kia” driver by netizens after the incident, was cornered by police after more than an hour of reckless driving to evade her pursuers, leaving several vehicles and properties damaged. Some of the security guards pursuing her were also injured during the chase. (Anna Liza V. Alavaren)
