It was in February when Quinto and Magallanes announced their engagement.
Quinto met Magallanes, during the holidays in the US.
“Sabi nung pinsan ko ipakilala kita sa Facetime kasi ang cute eh pero hindi ko pinansin. Sabi ko naku baka ma-fall lang ako. Tapos long distance pa. Sakto January 2016 hindi ako umalis ng America. Duon ko s’ya na-meet. Nag-tour kami,” she recalled.
“Mabait s’ya at pinaninindigan n’ya ako. Sa kakaganun n’ya, nag-fall na ako sa kanya. Minsan nagda-doubt ka pa pero nagdarasal na lang ako. At saka bakit pa ako matatakot? Lagi na lang ako takot sa lovelife. So this time tinodo ko na rin,” Quinto added.
Asked how Magallanes proposed, Quinto said: “He mentions all the time na ‘You have to get married na. Marrying age ka na.’ Then nagtext ako sa kanya ng, ‘Good morning. I think I want to get married.’ Sabi n’ya, ‘OK.’ Ganun lang ka-casual.”
In 1997, Quinto played lead for the first time in the movie “Gloria, Gloria Labandera.” She later starred in “Booba” in 2001 and she followed it up with “Super B.” (ROBERT R. REQUINTINA)
