Malacañang, the only team assured of a second round berth in the group with a perfect 5-0 card, goes for win No. 6 against defending champion Armed Forces of the Philippines.
Game time is at 5 p.m. with the AFP Cavaliers going for a revenge that will save them from complicity of falling into a four-way tie for second to fifth places with Bureau of Fire Protection, Ombudsman and MMDA.
The Cavaliers and Fire Fighters have similar 3-2 cards while the Graft5busters and Black Wolves tote 2-3 records.
Ombudsman and BFP clash at 3:30 p.m. in a game both teams are taking like there is no more tomorrow.
The winner will be assured of a second round berths where the top four teams in each division play another single round.
Of the four teams, MMDA will have a lighter assignment as it faces winless Senate in the opening game at 2 p.m.
The winner of the tournament organized by UNTV president and CEO Daniel Razon gets the R4 million prize which it will donate to its chosen charity.
