PRESTIGIOUS – Yes, indeed, the cast of “Tatlong Bibe” is prestigious. Consider Eddie Garcia, Anita Linda, Perla Bautista, Ronnie Lazaro, and Lou Veloso.
Also Rita Avila, Victor Neri, Angel Aquino, Luis Alandy, Ernie Garcia, and Edgar Allan Guzman, whose family is soon migrating to New Zealand.
Not to forget the unsinkable Dionisia Pacquiao, of course, the mother of boxing champ and Senator Manny Pacquiao.
And, mind you, in a non-comic role. But then “Tatlong Bibe,” its title notwithstanding, is a family drama.
“Feel good,” according to its director and writer, Joven Tan, also an award-winning songwriter.
Also in the cast: Nikki Valdez, Janna Trias, Dianne Medina, and rising actor-singer JK Labajo.
“Araw-araw may himala,” the blurb says.
By the way, direk Joven wrote a song especially for the movie, opting not use the novelty tune, which doesn’t suit a family drama.

CHILD STARS – Actually, the “Tatlong Bibe” (title roles) are played by popular child stars on television.
They are: Marco Masa of “Nathaniel,” Raikko Mateo of “Honesto,” and Lyca Gairanod, “The Voice Kids” first grandwinner, whose Cinderella-like story was dramatized in “Maalaala Mo Kaya,” the long-running anthology on ABS-CBN hosted by Charo Santos.
At the presscon of “Tatlong Bibe,” the three kids charmed the writers with their refreshing candor. While all contract artists of ABS-CBN, they don’t mind that their home studio didn’t give them the big break on the big screen.
They are happy and grateful to Regis Films and Entertainment for the chance to be launched to stardom.
Aside from movies, Regis will be producing concerts and events.

MOMMY D – Mommy D accepted the “Tatlong Bibe” offer upon learning that she’d play the wife of Eddie Garcia. No questions as to fee was concerned.
Mommy D was glad to learn she’d dance in the movie, dancing being her passion. Direk Joven said Regis Films sent a representative to GenSan to talk to her.
Regis is preparing a starrer for Mommy D, this time a comedy, right along her line, a comedienne without meaning to. Looking forward to that.
