‘PANTASYA’ – What’s an apt billing, title describing Ellen Adarna?
“Pantasya ng Bayan” comes to mind. Ellen is, indeed one, the fantasy of many a red-blooded male.
Think of all those sexy glossy pictorials, the latest of which is for FHM. They captured Ellen in all her naked glory. Very classy, albeit very revealing. Photographer is Mark Nicdao.
Of course, the “Pantasya ng Bayan” appellation is not original. Years back, Viva tagged Joyce Jimenez as such. Joyce is now “plain” housewife and mother in California. She used to be managed by dear friend Shirley Kuan.

NAUGHTY – Ellen can be naughty.
At one Star Magic ball, she was escorted by Ejay Falcon but brought home by Paulo Avelino. Media wrote she must be fond of birds. Adarna is a mythical bird in local folklore, falcon is a bird of prey, while Ave(lino) is bird in Spanish.
A few days after, Ellen was photographed holding a small bird, prompting some to ask: “Sino kaya sa dalawa?”
Ellen comes from a rich family in Cebu, owner of a chain of motels in the Queen City and Davao.

GOOD ACTRESS – Let it be said that Ellen Adarna is a good actress. Ask Gil Portes who directed her in “Bayang Magiliw,” “Twinkle,” and the pre-Valentine (Feb. 8) presentation “Moonlight over Baler,” where she plays the town beauty.
In “Twinkle” she got very good notices.
Ellen shares top billing with Elizabeth Oropesa, Sophie Albert, and Vin Abrenica.
