FOR EVERY – There must be something in beauty contests – for ladies and gentlemen alike.
An enthusiast of such events tells Highspeed of two, described as “title, trophy for every aspirant.” Seems the people behind them are “generous to a fault.”
•
ALL WOMEN – Let’s start with the all-women pageant. Aside from the main title – let’s call it BB. Barangay – there are many others “at stake” – so many that every aspirant has a little, with “matching” trophy.
Such titles as Lakambini, Mutya, Hiyas, Paraluman, Dilag, Perlas, and what you have are given away.
•
ALL MEN – And now the all-men contest. Aside from the main title – let’s call it Gg. Makisig – there’s one (and trophy, to boot) for all the rest of the aspirants.
Consider: Maharlika, Matipuno, Matalino, Tisoy, Pinoy, Sandata, and what have you all for the taking.
Oh, not to forget Mapagbigay, the “friendliest” of all aspirants…”If you know what I mean,” Highspeed’s source winks.
Whatever that means.
•
EVERYBODY HAPPY – The aim of those behind those two contests is to make everybody happy. The contestants, their parents and other relatives, friends, and supporters.
All can celebrate their victory – with title and trophy to prove it.
One time, Highspeed’s source continues, there were so many titles and trophies the organizers ran out of contestants.
Well, reserve them for the next events.
So, titles and trophies, anyone?
