DADDY SA TV LANG: Zanjoe Marudo has been playing father roles to kids really young enough to be his own. But, why hasn’t he sired children himself?
“Ang tagal naman ng practice ko,’’ the moreno actor said during the media launch of his new daily series, “My Dear Heart.”
It is the third time Zanjoe is playing father to a gifted child in an inspirational series. He earlier played more or less the same ideal father roles in “Anna Liza” and “Dream Dad.”
“Maybe I get cast in these roles because production sees I really like children. Coming from a big family with lots of nephews and nieces, I can relate to them easily.”
In playing another father role, Zanjoe said, “I am back to my core.”
