ACTRESS-singer Angeline Quinto has admitted that she got distracted by her love scenes with co-star Jake Cuenca in the latest movie “Foolish Love” under Regal Films.
“Kissing scene lang ‘yun. Hindi naman po ako 18 years old para magpa-bebe,” said Quinto, when asked to comment on her love scenes with Cuenca during an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” on ABS-CBN.
But Quinto said that she got distracted by Cuenca’s sexy body.
“Noong una (na distract ako sa katawan n’ya). Pero inalalayan n’ya ako ng sobra kasi nawawala ako sa eksena, lalo na first time ako sa mga ganitong eksena,” she said.
Quinto also clarified reports that she fell in love with a married man.
“Gusto ko pong linawin ’yung guy na yun ay ‘ex’ ko po. So hindi naman po ako nagmahal na may karelasyon na. Kumbaga mahal ko pa rin s’ya kahit may bago na,” she said. The Kapamilya star said that she was in a relationship with the guy for two years when he was still single.
Quinto, 27, also said that she would appreciate it more if the guy would love her more than she does.
“Nangyari po sa akin na hindi ko alam kung ’yung taong mahal ko ay mas mahal ako. Mas gusto ko po kasi ’yung mas mahal ako. Importante sa akin ’yun,” she added.
Quinto also said that she asked a suitor to stop courting her saying that they are better off as friends.
“Hindi naman sa binasted ko s’ya. Nag-usap na lang kami na ’wag na lang ituloy. Kasi mas mabuti po kami as friends,” she said.
Quinto added: “Pero tinanggap n’ya naman din kasi sabi n’ya dahil mahal n’ya ako, tatangapin n’ya raw kung ano ’yung desisyon ko.”
She did not name the suitor but observers said that she was referring to singer Erik Santos who she had a short-lived romance in 2016.
Quinto rose to fame when she won “Star Power: Sharon’s Search for the Next Female Pop Superstar” in 2011.
