Cignal-San Beda and AMA Online Education resume their quarterfinals bid against separate rivals today in the PBA D-League Aspirants’ Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Playing its first game in 11 days, Cignal takes on Batangas in the opener set at 11 a.m before AMA battles Victoria Sports in the other match at 1 p.m.
Cignal is in fourth place at 2-1, and will tie CafeFrance and Tanduay for second place with a victory, while AMA has a 3-2 mark after snapping a two-game losing skid last week.
It will the first game of the Boyet Fernandez-coached Cignal since Feb. 2 when it narrowly beat Wang’s Basketball, 84-77.
Meanwhile, AMA has regained its winning form after defeating Jose Rizal U, 69-61, a week ago at the JCSGO gym in Cubao. (Jonas Terrado)
