Last Friday, I talked about science behind magic tricks. Let me cite another example, the balancing of coins on top of a glass, which we also performed on our Matangalawin TV show sometime back.
I managed to balance coins vertically on top of a glass, which seemed impossible.
The science behind that was that there was a magnet called Neodymium magnet hovering above the glass. The magnet was able to attract the coins of their brass and nickel coating. Neodymium magnet is the strongest magnet in the whole world. It can be found in cellphones, headphones and microphones, and it can also attract objects 1,300 times heavier than its weight.
