Fresh from his successful Valentine’s Day concert, ace comedian Vice Ganda renewed last Thursday his new exclusive contract with ABS-CBN.
“Just signed my new exclusive contract with ABS CBN. Blessing after blessing after blessing!!! Thank you Lord!!’ said Vice Ganda on Instagram.
After he signed the contract, Vice Ganda told reporters: “Masayang masaya po ako na magre-renew na ulit ng kontrata dahil may kasiguraduhang may trabaho na ako ulit kaya masaya. Siguradong may kikitain ako ngayong taon.”
At the contract signing were ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak, chief operating officer of broadcast Cory Vidanes, and other officials of the Kapamilya network.
Vice Ganda, 40, joked that he would love to sign a 50-year contract with the network “Gusto ko nga sana 50 years na ang pipirmahan kong kontrata para isahan na lang.”
On February 14, Vice Ganda staged his sold-out concert dubbed “Pusuan Mo Si Vice Ganda Sa Araneta.”.
The highlight of the concert was the comedian’s eight-minute spoken word performance, which according to him, took him months to write.
“Gusto sana natin magkasama tayong dalawa sa siksikan, sa bawat laro mo, sa bawat three points mo, gusto ko sanang nandoon ako para magpalakpakan at gusto kong isigaw na, ‘P**ang i*a, jowa ko iyan.’ Pero hindi natin magawa kasi natatakot tayong parehong mapaguspan,” said Vice Ganda.
“Kaya kahit pareho tayong nagtagumpay, pareho tayong talunan. Ang sakit,” he also said.
“Hindi niyo alam kung gaano kasakit. Kapag naalala ko para akong namamatay sa sakit,” Vice Ganda said.
The comedian hinted about his past relationship with a basketball star who called her “Juliet.”
Prior to spoken-word performance, Vice Ganda warned child star Awra after their dance showdown not to fall in love with a basketball star.
Although he refused to name the basketball star, fans believed the comedian was referring to a certain Terence.
Both have denied that they were in a relationship.
