The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has suspended the permit of the tourist bus company involved in an accident which killed 14 passengers in Tanay, Rizal yesterday.
LTFRB board member and spokesperson Aileen Lizada said they have ordered a 10-day preventive suspension of the certificate of public convenience (CPC) or the franchise of the Panda Coach Tourist and Transportation Inc. after one of its buses figured in an accident in Tanay, Rizal.
The Panda Coach (TXS-325), carrying more than 50 students, was on the way to a camping site when it crashed.
