Kapamilya star Nadine Lustre has denied reports that she has become choosy when it comes to offers in show business.
“Viva (Films) is giving us a break din kasi s’yempre from what we did last year. Medyo sunod-sunod din so Viva wants us to give a break. So pahinga muna,” said Lustre, during an interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on ABS-CBN.
Lustre has just arrived from Japan where she and boyfriend James Reid celebrated their first anniversary as sweethearts.
“Oh my God! Japan is so amazing! Ang saya! Malamig nga lang po talaga. Umalis kami February 11 ng gabi so ang anniversary namin sa airport,” Lustre said.
Asked what gifts they gave each other for anniversary, Lustre said: “Walang gift. The Japan trip is the gift na mismo. It’s a different experience. Just us.”
Lustre and Reid shared to their fans some of the photos of their trip to Japan on their respective Instagram accounts.
It would be recalled that Lustre and Reid admitted their relationship during their sold-out concert called “JaDine In Love” at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City last Feb. 20. But they got together on Feb. 11.
Lustre, 23, also frowned at reports that she is leaving Viva Films.
“It’s not true! I love my Viva family,” she said, in a text message read during the late-night show.
Lustre and Reid have just finished their primetime teleserye “Till I Met You” on the Kapamilya network.
Apart from the teleserye, JaDine also got busy with their fourth movie entitled “This Time.” Then in March and in May last year, they performed in Dubai, Doha, London, Milan, United States and Canada as part of their world tour.
