Coach Jerry Codiñera is hoping to have addressed the Tile Masters’ chemistry issues as he and the team made the most of their 13-day break.
“We tried to fix our teamwork kasi struggle pa rin kami. We’re exposing them to crucial situations and we’re hoping that later on, the trust will be there,” he said, as he will bank on the quartet of Kent Salado, Rey Nambatac, Sidney Onwubere, and Jackson Corpuz.
Codiñera will be engaging in a coaching chess match against his fellow PBA legend and JRU coach Vergel Meneses, who is seeking to snap the Heavy Bombers’ three game losing skid.
JRU will rely on the trio of Tey Teodoro, Paolo Pontejos, and veteran Jhaps Bautista to end its slide.
