Lalaine Madrigal-Martinez, the wife of one of the high-profile inmates who testified against Senator Leila de Lima, said she has evidence to prove her claim that P100 million was indeed offered to witnesses in exchange for the retraction of their testimonies.
“Basta sa akin sir about doon sa P100 million na iyon pinaninindigan ko po iyon dahil meron po akong ebidensya laban doon at meron po akong recording,” said Lalaine during a press briefing at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) Monday night.
Lalaine was wearing a scarf over her head to hide her face and bearing a sling on her right arm due to a bullet graze wound she sustained when she was ambushed while on way home in Makati City before midnight on Thursday.
“Ngayon po ay pinapaubaya ko po sa NBI ang pag-iimbestiga tungkol sa aking mga nalalaman po,” said Lalaine, wife of convicted kidnapper Noel Martinez, one of the high-profile inmates of the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) currently detained at the Custodial Center of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) in Camp Aguinaldo.
