‘Kilig’ that will take you to the moon and back is the promise behind most anticipated Korea drama “Love in the Moonlight” which premiered March 6 on ABS-CBN.
Topbilled by two of of Korea’s most sought after stars today – Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung – “Love in the Moonlight” is one of the most successful and most watched series in Korea in 2016 that raked many accolades from respected award giving bodies such as the Best Couple, Best Excellent Actress, and Best Actor awards in the 2016 KBS Drama Awards; and Best New Actress for Yoo Jung in the 2016 APAN Star Awards.
Recently, Bo Gum was named most influential Korean star and topped Forbes Korea’s Top 40 Power Celebrity list for 2017.
Follow the love story of Crown Prince Lee Yeong (Park Bo Gum), a rebel prince who aspires for change in his community, and Ra-On (Kim Yoo Jung), an ordinary girl that will do everything even as far as pretending to be a man just to find her mother.
The two start off in the wrong foot when Lee Yeong thought that Ra-On is the one sending love letters to his younger sister.
Time passes by and the two meet again when Ra-On is sold to become a Eunuch or an all-around servant in the palace.
