MAY PAGMAMAHALAN: It came straight from Vina Morales’ lips.
She used the word ‘pagmamahalan’ in describing the relationship between her younger sister Shaina Magdayao and matinee idol Piolo Pascual.
The veteran singer actress, a survivor many times over, said she had only good words and the highest respect for Piolo, whom she described as a very kind man.
‘He shows a lot of respect to our family, we have nothing against him,’ Vina declared at the media launch March 6 of her comeback album, “Vina XXX” (Star Records).
Piolo and Shaina have admitted that they do enjoy a beautiful, one-on-one relationship.
According to Vina, she’s happy if her sister is happy.
‘And I find that she is. They’re happy together,’ she disclosed.

THREE DECADES OF VINA: After a seven year-hiatus from recording, Vinais back on record as she celebrates her 30th anniversary in the entertainment industry.
The new album is appropriately entitled “Vina XXX.”
The album is composed of seven original tracks, one revival and their minus one versions. The line-up includes “Eres Mio” written by Rox Santos, “Laro” by Edwin Marollano.
Also in the package is a revival track, “Lagay ng Puso” by Raizo Chabeldin and Rox Santos originally recorded by Bryan Termulo.
Another must-hear for fans is a mother-daughter duet entitled “Pag-ibig Na Walang Hangganan,” written by Jungee Marcelo, which Vina sang with her seven-year-old daughter Ceana.
Vina said Ceana was initially shy, ‘but she was able to sing her part very well.’’
Completing the track list are Chie Floresca and Jonathan Manalo’s “Maghihintay Kailanman,” Jamie Rivera’s “I Want Love To Stay,” Loreto C. Ata’s “To Live For Each Other,” and a Theo Remix of Rox B. Santos’ “Eres Mio.”
