The three counterfeiters were apprehended by joint operatives of NBI-Counter Terrorism Division (NBI-CTD) and Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) at the LRC Compound in Sta. Cruz, Manila.
The operation was conducted at the strength of a search warrant issued last March by the Manila Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 50.
The agents also seized from the suspects 23 pieces of fake P1,000 bills, four pieces of fake P500 bills and paraphernalia, including a scanner and printer.
