Manila, Philippines – The 3rd Nobleland Cup Championships will officially roll off today at the Elanes Bowling Center in Greenhills, San Juan City. A short opening ceremony will be held at 12:00 noon before the tournament proper.
The tournament welcomes all bowling enthusiasts where classifications will be done according to their latest PBF/ PBC listing averages. Bowlers without averages will need to submit their averages with the corresponding listing of tabulated scores from their respective association/club and have them certified by their president or secretary.
With most of the country’s top keglers likely to be present, two young bowlers will be challenged to shine for the Nobleland Bowling Club.
One of them is Patrick Neil Nuqui, last year’s Bowler of the Year for the Boys Junior division. Patrick, who started bowling when he was 10, hopes to come up with a worthy performance as he looks to use this open tournament as a gauge for future competitions.
For the ladies, Norel Nuevo hopes to make her club proud. She hopes her training and hard work pay off knowing she will be up against seasoned bowlers.
The 3rd Nobleland Cup Championships will be held from March 25 to April 2. Manila Bulletin Sports Online will host the daily scores of the tournament as forwarded by the official committee.
