How true is it that reigning Miss International Kylie Verzosa and former Bb. Pilipinas World 2007 Maggie Wilson-Consunji are not on talking terms on the set of their reality show?
Sources from TV5 in Mandaluyong City where the reality show “Philippines Next Top Model Cycle 2” is being taped claimed that the two beauty queens appeared to be aloof to each other especially during break time.
“Hindi mo sila nakitang mag-usap pag-breaktime. Parang naiilang sila sa isa’t-isa,” the source said.
Wilson hosts the reality show patterned after Tyra Banks’ “America’s Next Top Model” while Versoza serves as mentor of the contestants in the latest season of PNTM.
Asked what could be the reason for the distance, another source commented: “Perhaps they belong to different beauty camps.”
Verzosa belongs to the Aces and Queens beauty camp under Jonas Gaffud while Wilson is a member of the Kagandahang Flores beauty camp of Rodgil Flores.
The two groups have been rivals for beauty crowns for the past 10 years now.
Although Gaffud and Flores are civil to each other, unconfirmed reports said that their respective followers have allegedly resorted to shouting matches on few occasions.
Aside from Verzosa, Gaffud groomed Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and 2013 Miss World Megan Lynne Young, the first titleholder from the Philippines.
Flores has produced two Miss International winners – Precious Lara Quigaman and Bea Rose Santiago – and three Miss Earth winners – Karla Henry, Jamie Herrell and Angelia Ong.
The latest season of PNTM started to air on TV5 last March 21.
