‘Pinulot Ka Lang Sa Lupa’ finale today

GMA Network’s TV adaptation of “Pinulot Ka Lang Sa Lupa” concludes its run today, on the Afternoon Prime block.

The program is topbilled by talented Kapuso actors Julie Anne San Jose as Santina, Benjamin Alves as Ephraim, Martin del Rosario as Kiko, and LJ Reyes as Angeli. The four stars share their most memorable scenes, the things they will miss, and what to expect in the series’ finale week.

Julie Anne says she will miss working with her co-stars in the show. And even though they will not be seeing each other on a regular basis, the connection between them will always remain intact, “Mami-miss ko ang lahat. Hindi lang kasi trabaho ’yung iniisip namin dito. Isa kaming pamilya dito. Sobrang naging matatag ’yung relationship naming lahat.”

She has learned many things while doing the soap most especially with Director Gina Alajar, “Magandang learning experience itong show sa akin. Marami akong natutunan especially sa guidance ni Direk Gina. Kapag taping palagi kaming nagdadasal bago magstart. Siya talaga ang nanay naming lahat. Sobrang magaan katrabaho si Direk.”

Benjamin reveals playing the role of Ephraim is the most memorable for him. It is also one of the things he will miss as the series ends this week. “It’s very challenging. I have never been brought back to life before. ’Yung koneksyon kasi ni Ephraim sa lahat ng characters ay mabigat. Marami siyang pinaglalaban so gusto pa ng fans na ipagpatuloy ang laban niya kaya muli siyang bumalik. Kaya hanggang sa dulo, dapat nilang subaybayan ang magiging ending.”

LJ reveals playing the role of Angeli is the most memorable for her. She will also never forget her scenes with Ms Jean Garcia and her scenes with Julie Anne, “Hindi ko makakalimutan ’yung mga confrontation scenes ko with Tita Jean.

And ’yung scene na galit na ako kay Santina tapos susugurin ko siya then ipagtatanggol naman siya ni Ephraim. Sobrang scheming nung character ni Angeli na pag nakaharap ako sa kabilang side, galit ako. Pero pag kay Tita Jean na, ang bait ko. ’Yung mga ganung moments hindi siya just one scene lang, kaya hindi ko makakalimutan sa show ’yun kasi kailangan ko talaga mag-shift ng mabilis.”

Martin says that he will never forget one of her scenes with Julie Anne, “Si Kiko kasi wagas talaga ang pagmamahal kay Santina. Kaya very memorable for me ’yung scene kung saan inamin ko na mahal ko si Santina higit pa sa isang kaibigan.”
