Smart, in partnership with City Hoops, will hold the Smart Basketball Camp starting on Wednesday at the Gold’s Gym in Sheridan, Pioneer Mandaluyong City.
Using the theme “Play Better, Play Smart,” this year’s edition will be divided into two age-group categories – the nine to 13 years old and the 14 to 18 years old for boys and girls who love to improve their game.
Jay Salvador and Homer Bautista will conduct the camp with special appearances of former Gilas coach and current Ateneo mentor Tab Baldwin and the best players of the Blue Eagles team headed by Thirdy Ravena and Aaron Black.
“Smart will hold a basketball camp like never before as part of Smart’s vision of promoting the game of basketball,” said Smart Sports chief Christopher “Epok” Quimpo.
After the opening day, the other training sessions are set on April 21, 24, 26 and 28 and May 2, 3 and 5 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Apart from sharpening their skills and improving game techniques, participants will automatically receive a Smart LTE Pocket wifi, a Smart jersey, basketball and an authentic Gilas Pilipinas bag.
Registration fee is pegged at P2,000.
