13-time CMMA/3-time Palanca awardee writer, college teacher, realty entrepreneur and Kamuning Bakery Café owner Wilson Lee Flores will be featured in ABS CBN News Channel or ANC’s Chinoy TV hosted by Gretchen Ho, Valerie Tan and Nicole Cordoves on April 29 (Saturday) 8 to 8:30 p.m. with replay on April 30 (Sunday) 11 to 11:30 a.m.
Ever since 2013, Wilson Lee Flores has donated four public schoolbuildings to poor rural barrios in support of the noble socio-civic project “Operation Barrio Schools” of the Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), because he believes democratizing access to good public education is better than a revolution in changing society.
Flores has also revived the 78-year-old, pugon-style Kamuning Bakery Café in Quezon City, hosting unique events such as the tertulia-inspired “Pandesal Forum” for newsmakers and leaders, the annual “World Pandesal Day” celebration with free breads and free medical/dental services for the urban poor, and the “Pan de Musika” open mic poetry reading & music nights. Wilson Lee Flores of Kamuning Bakery Café has also been interviewed for TV by the likes of Jessica Soho, showbiz stars Kris Aquino, Anne Curtis, Marian Rivera and others.
