The actor is quite a sportsman since he has participated in many physical sports from basketball, soccer to football.
Now, Tom has been doing lots of extreme sports to amp up his adrenalin. His latest adventure took him to the sky as he participated in skydiving.
The actor took his first jump in 2014 at 4,000 feet above sea level.
After passing his first jump, he had it recorded and posted on his Instagram account.
Tom described the experience as “the most extreme adventure” he has ever done.
He admitted that he was nervous at first. But his fear vanished when he took that first sky jump.
“Grabe ‘yung sarap! We were up there 4,000 feet tapos lalabas ka sa may pakpak ng eroplano.
“Sabi nila sa akin, kapag naka-15 jumps na ako, I can jump at 15,000 feet!”
After his first dive, Tom underwent a first jump initiation, which involved enjoying some beer with the senior jumpers.
The actor expressed his gratitude to the people of Skydive Zambales for having assisted him in his exciting experience.
He added that it will definitely not be his last skydiving stint because he would like to level up.
When his showbiz schedule isn’t as hectic, Tom takes himself to the sky to feel that freedom in the air.
“I’m always open to new and different adventures. Anything that would catch my curiosity, I will dare myself to do it.
“Hindi lang sa acting on TV and film do I like to experiment, but also with sports. The more extreme, the more dangerous, the better!
“But of course, I need to be careful and I always say a prayer every time I try something new and exciting.
“We need to do something different every now and then. We have many choices and life is too short. Do the things we are afraid of doing and come out of it a winner!”
Tom will soon be seen in the GMA primetime telefantasya “Mulawin vs. Ravena”.
