Hot and humid weather will prevail across the country throughout the week due to the persisting warm and moist easterly winds coming from the Pacific Ocean.
According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration, the easterlies will continue to bring hot and humid weather conditions over the country except for isolated rain showers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening.
By Monday and Tuesday, PAGASA said the whole county will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies. Luzon will have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms while Visayas and Mindanao will experience scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms.
By Wednesday until Friday, hot and humid weather conditions across the country will continue due to the prevailing easterly winds.
However, isolated rain showers and thunderstorms will affect the country especially in the afternoon or evening.
So far, PAGASA does not expect the formation of a tropical cyclone that may affect the country throughout the week. (Ellalyn V. Ruiz)
