Someone once wrote: Work hard in silence; let your success be your noise.
This line applies best this graduation season.
Yes, it’s that time of year when students mark a milestone in their life.
When we were young, we dreamt of what future awaited us.
Our parents would ask us what we wanted for ourselves in the future.
My friends would say they wanted to be successful in life.
Just how does one become a success? Success isn’t achieved in the wink of an eye.
As in anything in life, there is no easy way. Success is achieved through sheer hard work.
Every successful person begins with this belief: The future can be better than the present. Dreaming of becoming successful? Here’s how.
Set your goals – Plan everything.
Know your wants and priorities, your limitations and capabilities.
Never give up – There will be humps and bumps along the way.
Stay focused.
Enjoy and be happy – You must not bombard yourself with pressure. Always be happy in whatever you do. Being happy in whatever you do is the key to be successful.
Winston Churchill said, ‘Success is not final, failure is not fatal, it is the courage to continue that counts.’
What a fitting graduation thought.
