Kiefer Ravena reunites with former college rival Jeron Teng as they banner the Philippine team to the FIBA 3×3 World Cup 2017 in Nantes, France next month.
This marks the second time this year that the two former collegiate standouts – Ravena for Ateneo and Teng for La Salle – play together after suiting up for Mighty Sports in the Dubai Invitational tournament last February.
Adding star power to the team is the high-leaping Kobe Paras.
The composition of the PH team was announced by FIBA on its website.
Paras, who recently joined Cal State Nothridge in the US NCAA after one uneventful season at Creighton, will be playing for the PH for the third time.
The son of former PBA MVP Benjie Paras also saw action for the PH team in the FIBA 3×3 U18 World Cups in 2013 and 2015.
The 19-year-old Paras won the dunk contest at both events.
Far Eastern University’s Raymar Jose is the fourth player of the team.
The PH team is bracketed with France, Slovenia, Romania and El Salvador in the June 17-21 event.
