James Younghusband scored the only goal as Meralco-Manila edged JPV-Marikina, Saturday to remain unbeaten after three matches in the Philippines Football League at the Biñan Football Stadium in Biñan, Laguna.
Younghusband delivered the match winner in the 63rd minute courtesy of a corner from his brother Phil that allowed the Sparks to come away with the full three points despite JPV having most of the possession.
Meralco improved to nine points, winning all of its three games since the league’s inaugural season kicked off earlier this month.
