Philippine National Police (PNP) shoots for its third straight win when it collides with the dangerous Judiciary side in tomorrow’s UNTV Cup Executive Face-Off at the Pasig City Sports Center.
Led by Anthony Padua, Philip Phillips, Oscar Albayalde, Ireneo Dalogdalog, and Alex Sintin, the PNP Responders notched their second win with an 85-65 drubbing of the Senate Sentinels last Sunday.
Match is set at 5 p.m. with the Responders out to keep their unblemished record intact although they are expecting a stiff challenge this time in the tournament organized by UNTV president and CEO Daniel Razon for the country’s public servants.
Expected to lead the Judiciary Magis are Romulo Paras, Jr., Manuel Gerard Tomacruz and Jose Midas Marquez – all scored in double figures in the team’s massive 90-59 win over Bureau of Customs.
Also going for a 3-0 is Department of Justice which will face winless Senate at 2 p.m. while the Kenneth Duremdes-mentored BOC tangles with AFP at 3:30 p.m.
The DOJ Justice Boosters are coming off a 93-82 win over the AFP Cavaliers.
