ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat – A drug pusher was killed after he shot it out with arresting policemen in Kalamansig, Sultan Kudarat over the weekend.
Senior Supt. Raul Supiter, Sultan Kudarat police director, said the suspect, Salem Lardera, resisted arrest after he was collared in a drug bust operation conducted by policemen and Marine soldiers in Barangay Poblacion, Kalamansig town.
He said the suspect drew a handgun as the arresting team tried to accost him.
The lawmen seized several grams of ‘shabu’, .38 caliber revolver and a fragmentation grenade from the suspect. (Joseph Jubelag)
