The Supreme Court terminated its three-day oral arguments on the three cases challenging the constitutionality of Martial Law in Mindanao after an executive session yesterday with Defense Secretary and Martial Law Administrator Delfin Lorenzana and Armed Forces Chief of Staff and Martial Law Implementor Gen. Eduardo Año.
SC Spokesman Theodore O. Te said Solicitor General Jose C. Calida and the lawyers of the petitioners in the three cases also attended the closed-door session.
After the session, Te said the SC directed the parties to the cases to submit their respective memorandum not later than 2 p.m. on June 19.
