Gab Banal and Aris Dionisio delivered big shots during a big windup as Flying V turned back Racal Motors, 94-86, yesterday to remain unbeaten in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Banal and Dionisio scored 18 of the Thunder’s last 27 points after losing a 12-point third quarter lead to trail 70-67 early in the fourth to post their fifth straight win that kept them as the only team without a loss in the PBA’s developmental tournament.
Earlier, Wangs Basketball erupted for 46 points in the third quarter to dismantle Zark’s Burgers, 133-92.
