The National Anti-Poverty Commission yesterday launched the Kilos Sambayanan, the Duterte administration’s flagship anti-poverty program.
Kilos Sambayanan or Kilos para sa Sampung Batayan is an advocacy campaign by the NAPC for the fulfillment of the 10 basic needs of the Filipino poor.
These are food and land reform, water, shelter, health, education, work, social protection, healthy environment, peace, and participation.
The program was launched in Delpan, Binondo, Manila – the place where then-Davao City Mayor Duterte launched his presidential campaign. Program hosts were Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. AVP for Community Relations and Services Arnell Ignacio and Communications Assistant Secretary Margaux Uson.
