KING IS BACK – The Primetime King of GMA, Dingdong Dantes, is back as “Alyas Robin Hood.” This time not just as vigilante but as full-fledged lawyer to the poor and the oppressed. Yes,Atty. Pepe de Jesus.
It’ll be recalled that Part One of “Alyas Robin Hood” was such a hit that a second season is in order. This August, starting on the 14th, the show promises to be much more exciting.
Dingdong shares: “Kapag sinabi mong Part Two, whatever you saw the last season kailangan mag- double up in terms of the drama, the action, sa comedy, total look, production value, double up sa lahat.”
At the star-studded presscon of “Alyas Robin Hood,”Dingdong surfaced on the venue riding a motorcycle. A Robin Hood” in black, without the bow and arrow though.

CO-STARS – Dingdong has two leading ladies, the classy Solenn Heussaff, the rich girl in love with “Alyas Robin Hood,” and bombshell Andrea Torres, the love of Pepe’s life and his faithful ally in the quest for justice,
Also co-starring with Dingdong are the esteemed Edu Manzano, star material Ruru Madrid, and Ms. Jaclyn Jose, Cannes’ best actress for “Ma’ Rosa,” as loving mother of Pepe and Caloy (Gary Estrada).
The cast includes Rob Moya, son of Seiko actor-turned Manila policeman Jovit Moya. How wonderful of Rob to tell the whole world he’s proud of his gay father.
