THE Actors Guild of the Philippines, led by its president Imelda Papin, in collaboration with the Social Security System, will hold a medical mission today, at the 2nd Flr. Magsaysay Hall, SSS building on East Avenue, Quezon City for the benefit of guild members, especially the elderly.
Registration starts at 7am.
Participating in the said mission, consisting of medical, dental, optical and acupuncture services, are various Rotary Clubs under RI District 3810 and 3780, the Metro Manila Development Authority, Best Foundation, Inc., Dream Maker Foundation, Inc., IAP Foundation, Inc., Docthirty One Movement Inc., Quezon City General Hospital, DoH, and Asian Television Content (ATC). Volunteer Doctors will be spearheaded by Dr. Rosendo (Jun) Papin, Jr., Dr. Baby Rose Papin & Dr. Randy Rivera.
Through the initiative of the Actors Guild, an office space to be known as the “Home of Filipino Artists” has been given by the SSS administration in support of Filipino artists to provide for their security and benefit in recognition of their contribution to the enrichment of Philippine culture and arts. Blessing and inauguration of the said office will be done earlier on the same day together with SSS officials led by Chair Dean Amado Valdez and President Emmanuel Dooc. KAPPT will award to the 1st 250 or more qualified members during the medical mission an initial premium for SSS contribution.
