MARVIN AS DIRECTOR-PRODUCER: Because of his many business concerns, Marvin Agustin can’t anymore remember his last TV series or film.
During a chance encounter at his restaurant, Wolfgang at the Resorts World Manila, the actor said, however, that he’ll be busy once again in showbiz. This time, as director-producer.
Marvin is doing an 8-episode series for HOOQ that tackles millennial lifestyles. The project, he said, stemmed from a thesis he presented at a film school in New York that he attended sometime back.
Marvin also expressed hope that a planned reunion film with Jolina Magdangal for Star Cinema shall push through this year.

RESORTS WORLD BACK IN BUSINESS: We happened to be at RWM recently to check out how the place is doing after that unfortunate incident in June.
CorpComm head OwenCammayo said operations are back to normal. RWM’s Newport Perfórming Arts Center unveiled a series of new shows led by Shitty, Shitty Bang Bang topbilled by MenchuLauchengco Yulo and Gian Magdangal. Jon Santos recently also starred with Kakai in a new comedy act, Live, Love Laugh.
Jon is the lone surviving act doing stand-up comedy shows in venues like RWM. All the others, have retired somehow, or at least in the case of some, rested their acts temporarily.

PUSONG LIGAW: Albie Casino joins the cast of ABS-CBN’s hit afternoon series “PusongLigaw” as Leon, a teenager believed to be Tessa (Beauty Gonzalez) and Caloy’s (Joem Bascon) missing son.

LOST MEMORY: Heard that a legendary singer, known for her daring, experimental vocal pyrotechnics, is suffering from memory loss. A pity, she was once one of our best.
