KAPAMILYA actor Luis “Lucky” Manzano has said that he cannot wait to start a married life with actress Jessy Mendiola.
“Can’t wait. In spite of what people think, what people see, I’m a hopeless romantic. Si Luis ganito, ganyan, ang daming binabato. But I can’t wait to go home and have my wife, my child, our dog waiting for me,” said Manzano, when asked about married life, during an interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on ABS CBN.
When asked if Manzano was referring to Mendiola when he mentioned the word wife, the popular television host approached her and escorted her to the stage. Then Manzano told Mendiola: “I love you!” Then he kissed her.
Manzano also shared the reason why he works so hard.
“I enjoy what I do. I enjoy speaking to people. I enjoy trying to make people laugh. And siguro most of all I enjoy the people around me. Well, we get a good pay sa ginagawa natin.
“I think it’s our responsibility and obligation to serve people. What capacity it all depends on you. And I would like to think that what I do, sa hosting, basta nakakapagpasaya ako ng tao, itutuloy at itutuloy ko, tatanggap ako ng show, basta alam kong may napapasaya pa ako sa likod ng camera,” Manzano added.
Facing the Golden Mirror, Manzano advised the man on the mirror not to quit or get tired because “you only get one shot at life.”
He said: “One shot and make the most of it!”
Asked what makes him sexy, Manzano said: “He’s not afraid to be him. Whatever you see, that’s who you are.”
Sought to comment on the viral videos of fellow Kapamilya actors John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna who were having fun on the beach, Manzano said: “Base naman sa nakita kong video, wala naman s’yang inaagrabyado. Kung saka sakali man it would be better, kung sakali hindi man nakita ng tao, if I’m not mistaken, si Lloydie nag-apologize na rin. He believes that a lot of kids look up to him din naman. Baka he believes to some degree, he may have set a bad example.
Baka lang. But at the end of the day, wala s’yang na agrabyado, wala syang sinasaktan na tao. Kung titignan mo ‘yung video, he was simply having fun. It doesn’t define who he really is.”
“If you wanna have fun, do it on your own. Your moments are your moments. Some, I believe, really care kung ano man talaga ang nangyayari. But I’m guessing a good majority are looking for the next issue to pounce on,” said Manzano.
