ACTRESS Toni Gonzaga-Soriano has said that she is very secure as a woman and as a wife to director Paul Soriano.
“Now? I can say 10! Without batting an eyelash. Naks!” said Gonzaga when asked how secure she is as a wife during an interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on ABS CBN.
Gonzaga also said that she was not affected by rumors linking her husband to actress Erich Gonzales.
“Honestly Tito Boy, hindi. Wala akong naramdaman.Tutoo ‘yun sa isang babae meron tayong gut-feel eh. Parang feeling ko God’s gift ‘yun to women. Meron kang nararamdaman eh,” said Gonzaga when asked if she got jealous of Gonzales.
She added: “Sabi nila ‘yun eh. Kahit walang lumabas na issue, pag may naramdaman ka, mararamdaman mo ‘yun.”
Gonzaga also reacted to a hypothetical question on how she would handle infidelity.
“Nung kinasal ako, sabi ko ‘ay ganito pala, kapag may karapatan ka na, may asawa ka na, pwede ka na manabunot,’” she said.
“Kasi may papel ka eh. May ilalaban ka eh. Ako ‘yung asawa! May masasabunutan ka. May ganun kang feeling. Ahhh! Okay. Ako ang asawa!” said Gonzaga.
“Nung may Seve na, iniisip ko kung magkakaroon ng infidelity, hindi mo mahahawakan ang bata. Akin ‘to! ‘Yun lang iniisip ko! Hypothetical lang ‘yun. Uy baka magalit naman si Paul. Hindi naman papayag ‘yun,” Gonzaga laughed.
Gonzaga also gave a love advice to her one-year-old son Seve when he turns 20.
“Lalaki si Seve. Ah, Seve wag kang magpapaiyak ng babae. Alagaan mo ‘yung babae na magbibigay sa’yo ng puso nya. ‘Wag mo syang paiiyakin,” she said, as she faced the Golden Mirror.
“One day, lahat ng pinapangarap mo sa anak mo, sa family mo, matutupad mo. Last night, tinitigan ko si Seve. Tapos na-realize ko na life is worth living kasi I have him,” Gonzaga added.
Gonzaga appeared on the late-night show to promote her reunion movie with Piolo Pascual entitled “Last Night.”
Asked about her admiration for Pascual, Gonzaga said: “Mas tumaas ‘yung pagmamahal, ‘yung respeto and admiration ko kay PJ (Piolo Pascual) sa pelikulang ito as an actor, as an individual as a whole, as a fan. I started as a fan ni PJ nung nagsisimula pa lang ako sa industriya and who would have thought na 15 years after, or 13 years after, bibigyan ako ng pagkakataon na makatambal si PJ sa pelikula.”
“Para sa mga baguhan at nagsisimula pa lang, your dreams will come true eventually if you will never give up. Hindi kami nagsasalita pero naiintindihan namin ang isa’t-isa sa mata. May mga eksena kami na magtititigan lang kami. Alam ko na kung saan sya papunta. Alam mo na kung ano ‘yung ibibigay nya sa akin.
“Kakaibang experience and pelikulang ito. Marami kang ma-re-realize.Maraming ipapa-isip sa’yo. Maraming magandang dahilan para mabuhay,” she said.
In 2014, Pascual and Gonzaga appeared in the blockbuster movie “Starting Over Again” which earned more than R400 million in domestic gross.
