ACTOR Aga Muhlach has revealed his secrets to a happy family life, saying that all of them talk a lot every day.
“Lahat ng ayaw ko, lahat ng hindi ko nakita, lahat ng mga kinaiinisan ko, growing up, ‘yun ang iniiwasan ko sa kanila. Meaning I don’t wanna be a nag to my children, you don’t wanna clip their wings also,” said Muhlach during an interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on ABS CBN.
Muhlach said that he is happily married to former beauty queen Charlene Gonzales for 16 years now.
“My wife makes it work. Parang anghel talaga na pinadala sa akin eh. Hindi ako nagkamali. Nakita ko talaga ‘yun.
Before I even proposed her, I saw that. Ilaw talaga,” said Muhlach when asked what makes their marriage work.
“Sinabi ko talaga, ‘wow ang dami kong tinitignan eto pala ang asawa ko. That’s why I proposed to her right away. And she said yes!
“Our family converses every day. When I wake up, I’ll have coffee and we will just talk, talk. If I don’t have work, we just talk until it’s lunch time already,” the actor said.
Asked what they talk about, Muhlach said: “I don’t know. Dreams, things, whatever. Everything. Kwento, kwento. Mamaya ‘o, let’s go to the gym.’ We dress up, we go to the gym. After gym we’re talking. Tapos mamaya the kids will arrive from school.”
He added: “Then we will eat, watch TV. And then we talk. Every day.”
Gonzales and Muhlach have two children Atasha and Andres. Muhlach has a son from previous relationship with Janice de Belen.
